I was so excited to try out this product because I absolutely cannot stand chopping, cutting and spiraling any kind of vegetable. It takes so much work and I am not a patient person for all that mess! I barely have patience to homeschool 4 kids, lol!
We tried this product out as soon as it got here. My husband was making onion rings and some potato chips, well at least that was the plan.
First impressions of this product before using were great. The product came with all the pieces shown here and did not weigh a lot (I don't like clunky, heavy kitchen products) and it was just amazing to me.
Now lets get in to how it actually worked for us. Please see the pictures below.
As you can see, we tried both an onion and a potato with this product, we did not get the results we were hoping for though. The spirals were not cut all the way through and it did not work on the potato at all. We still plan on using the product though and hope to see better results in the future.
Based on our experience at this time, I give this product a 2 out of 5 stars because it did not work how we thought it would. However, if we end up with better results, the rating will go up and I will update accordingly.
