I've always wondered about dog whistles and if they actually work. I also wondered if a human would be able to hear it because I always had been told that humans couldn't hear the whistle because of the special frequency. After doing some research though, I found that humans can hear the whistle just not at the same frequency as a dog.I have two beautiful golden retrievers who light up our family of six's lives. They are sweet, pretty much well trained and very loving and comforting.
I received the dog whistle set about 2 weeks ago and I started using it right away. I'm still working on getting used to how to use it, but it works pretty well (most of the time). If my dogs are hyper and excited about something, then you can forget it. They won't listen to the whistle, my voice or anything, for that matter!
You can see in this video me using the whistle, I have to admit that I have not followed all the instructions in the e-book that came with the whistle as I have been extremely busy, but it worked for one of our babies.
I have thumbed through the e-book and it is very informative and I believe it will help me with using the whistle the correct way for training.
I give this product a 4 out of 5 stars because it works and my dogs seem to like it too!
